Salvation Army Resident Park
Every summer Dalhousie Architecture students work on a two-week intensive design build project somewhere in Nova Scotia. The groups are usually comprised of 12-30 students with 1 to 4 supervising instructors. I was involved in the redevelopment of an abandoned house plot that was beside a Salvation Army drug rehabilitation center. With the help of countless donors and some long hours we turned it into a garden space for the Salvation Army residents.
